Our aim is to support Priory School through fundraising, liaising with the community and providing refreshments at a wide range of events. You can read our constitution here.
Every donation and all money raised directly enhances our children's journey through the school.
Everyone welcome
Friends of Priory School is a charity; it is steered by an enthusiastic committee of parents, teachers and members of the Priory community who wish to help the school by offering a variety of ways to engage parents, pupils and our community and help support the school. We meet regularly throughout the year and welcome anyone to come along to meet the committee and find out how you can get involved to support the school!
Social Events
We plan a range of social events for Priory parents and pupils
Refreshments
We provide refreshments at events attended by all members of the school community
Enhancing our school
Through events and by encouraging direct support, we raise funds to enhance learning
Community
We encourage wider community links with local residents and organisations
Meeting up
The Friends of Priory committee usually meet once a term to discuss fundraising ideas, forthcoming events and plans for the future.
As well as these meetings there are sub-groups that meet to organise refreshments, a particular event or on-going fund raising activities. There is also an AGM annually in the Autumn which reports on the activities of the previous year and the financial position of the charity.
